Hundreds of Chinese Surnames 百家姓. 
The glazed umbrella stand is adopted a deep relief engraving design with a Chinese surnames motif,  the rim decorated with interlocking spirals with right angles which symbolize unity and infinity. 

China and Porcelain both terms describe the same product. "China" comes from its origin Changnan (Tang Dynasty 618 to 907) and nowadays Jingdezhen (Northern Song Dynasty 960-1127), and the word "Porcelain" comes from the Portuguese word Porcelana.
