PWPL2035BW The center of the interior is decorated with a running Qilin, surrounded by scroll flower motif. The Qilin is a Chinese unicorn described as a maned creature with the torso of a deer and oxtail with the hooves of a horse. Qilin is a symbol of luck, good omens, protection, prosperity, success, and longevity. China and Porcelain both terms describe the same product. "China" comes from its origin Changnan (Tang Dynasty 618 to 907) and nowadays Jingdezhen (Northern Song Dynasty 960-1127), and the word "Porcelain" comes from the Portuguese word Porcelana.
