The Happy Buddha is also known as the Laughing Buddha. In the Chinese culture, the Happy Buddha represents prosperity, happiness and longevity. Rubbing its tummy is said to bring good luck and fortune. The Happy Buddha is hand made and is constructed of heavy walled brass that is sand casted, hand worked and chemically oxidized to bring out the natural green coloured patina, characteristic of oxidized brass.
