Tingsha bells are small cymbals used by Buddhists during prayer, meditation and ceremonies.  They are struck together to produce a high pitch tone that rings for a long time.  You will find many yoga instructors using these to start and end their yoga session as well as people that meditate.  Tingsha bells are also used by Reiki practitioners to ward off negative energies.  The tingsha bells has the designs of the seated meditation buddhas and lion heads.
